Citlalli Luna is an aspiring educator and lifelong learner with a passion for fostering growth and connection through the study of intersectional cultural literature. Currently teaching Rhetorical Arts as a professor at Loyola Marymount University, she previously served as a Writing Instructor where she worked closely with students to develop their skills in critical thinking and communication.
Citlalli Luna is pursuing her M.A in English Literature with a focus on Cultural Studies which has since deepened her interest in exploring the intersections of identity, storytelling, and society. Her work is shaped by a commitment to creating inclusive and engaging learning environments, as well as her deep connection to her cultural heritage, and the landscapes of the Central Valley of California. Through teaching, writing, and researching, Citlalli Luna strives to think critically, engage empathetically, and apply her insights to create a more inclusive and ethical lens from which to operate from.
